When it comes to marketing furniture, which is a high-involvement product with a price tag of over a million won (around $1,000), it’s certainly not an easy task. Since furniture also relies heavily on brand image, it’s not uncommon for companies to invest thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars in product detail page photoshoots.

For furniture companies that rely on online sales, capturing customers’ hearts through just a product detail page or a single thumbnail image is critical. That’s why they rent studios, hire professional photography teams, and go to great lengths to create the perfect visual. Yet, despite all that effort, the conversion rate for those product detail pages often isn’t as high as they’d like.

Today, let’s talk about how furniture companies can effectively market their products outside of product detail pages. In this article, I’ll introduce two features—Product Tagging and Panorama—that can help you present your products in an even more convincing way. These features can naturally lead your customers to think, “I need to get this!”

Let’s dive in and explore these exciting opportunities for next-level furniture marketing.

🏷️ Tag Furniture Details in Your Content and Encourage Natural Purchases

🔎 Example: Innometsa – 3D Tour Page
🔎 Example: Today’s House – 3D Interior Page

Both Innometsa and Today’s House have dedicated 3D interior pages on their websites. They showcase 3D interior images featuring their furniture, turning these images into engaging content.

As customers browse this content, they can spot furniture they love and click on product tags that lead directly to the purchase page. In other words, you’re providing customers with an enjoyable viewing experience and seamlessly guiding them to the product purchase page—without the heavy-handed sales pitch of a traditional product detail page.

🛋️ How to Add Product Tags to Your Furniture Layouts

Once you’re familiar with how to lay out your furniture in 3D, it’s time to learn how to add product tags. This feature helps you maximize conversions by directing customers to the purchase page when they click on the furniture information within the layout image.

Here’s how to add product tags:

  1. Log in to Archisketch, and Start 3D interior design

  2. Go to the “Top – Panorama” menu.

  3. Click “Auto Tag” to automatically apply tags to all the furniture items in your layout.

  4. If there’s a product you don’t want tagged, simply click the (+) icon to remove the tag individually.

  5. Once your tags are set, go back to “Render Studio” at the top to render your layout.

💡 Tip: Start by rendering in “Standard” resolution to check the quality. If the result looks good, re-render in high resolution (2K–8K) for the final version.

📌 How Innometsa Uses Product Tagging to Boost Sales

As mentioned earlier, Innometsa makes great use of Archisketch’s Product Tag feature. Innometsa is a concept store focused on Scandinavian classic and contemporary design. They’ve created virtual interiors that align with this concept, and have carefully tagged each furniture item with product information. This has successfully increased their customer conversion rates!

🎥 Create Immersive Experiences with Panorama Shots

Archisketch also offers the 720 Tour feature, allowing customers to experience your interior designs as if they’re actually there. The 720 Tour is a 3D tour feature that provides a fully immersive 720-degree view of your interior space. You can create a 720 Tour by generating multiple panorama render shots. Here’s how:

  1. Click on “Project” in the left menu. You’ll see tabs for Floor Plans, Render Shots, 720 Tour, and AI Styler.

  2. Go to the “720 Tour” tab, and Click “Create 720 Tour.”

  3. Choose the panorama images you want to include and click “Generate” in the bottom right corner.

  4. Once your 720 Tour is complete, click “Copy Link” at the bottom to share it with your customers.
→ You can also embed this tour on your website or product detail page to significantly boost conversion rates.
